    Rajmund Andrzejczak, the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, paid a visit to Ireland upon the invitation of the Chief of Staff of the Irish Defense Forces Vice admiral Mark Mellet on September 27-29.

    It was the first visit of a Polish military of this rank to Ireland in the history of bilateral relations between Poland and Ireland.

     

    During the visit, Lieutenant General Andrzejczak learned about various methods of work of the Irish defense forces and laid a wreath in the Garden of Remembrance.

     

    Both chiefs were then hosted at the Residence of the Polish Ambassador by the Charge d’affaires a.i. Mr. Łukasz Chimiak.
